Trilogy is built on the knowledge, professionalism and experience of the artistic faculty and administrative staff. Each student will learn dance technique, style, theory, and discipline from our excellent instructors. More importantly, the teachers will treat every student equally and encourage self-confidence through personal achievements. The administration strives to serve the needs of each family and dancer.
The faculty members encompass professional backgrounds, loyalty, passion for dance, and the dedication to the creation of extraordinary dancers. Trilogy provides it’s staff with opportunities such as monthly continued education classes in curriculum, teaching concepts and guidelines, as well as CPR and child development classes.

Charmaine Swearingen
Charmaine Swearingen has over 35 years of Dance and early Childhood Movement Education. She started dancing at the age of 2 ½ in Louisiana, with continued training and teaching in Houston, Texas.
Charmaine’s skills in teaching have enriched the knowledge of students in the US (Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma), as well as internationally (Norway and Dubai). Her primary focus is the students, delivering her skills and knowledge in a manner that is both fun and challenging, yet within the ability of each student. She has a marvelous range of experience spanning infants and through the elderly. Through this she has understood, “Children are a gift from God.” They are his reward (Psalms 127:3).  Life has been a continued education, allowing her to share her passion of the arts, so others may have a better understanding of life and appreciation of the arts.
Her training includes ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, twirling, and basic tumbling.  She continued her education with Dance Tree International, Kindermusik, Silver Sneakers, and Drama Kids International.
Personal Achievements include:
– Liaison for the International School of Stavanger (ISS) activities at Secondary Level.
– Performed and Choreographed for the British Amateur Theater.
– Assisted with the European Theatrical Association. Worked with 300 students from 20 countries to introduce the arts from different areas of the world.
– Trained and worked as a Stephen’s Minister in Christian “care giving”.
– Served on the Arts Advisory Committee for Garfield Academy.
Her life has been blessed with a wonderful husband of over 30 years, 2 fabulous children, and 4 loving grandchildren…. she now resides in Spring Branch and loves teaching at Trilogy Hill Country.

Jaclyn Sanchez
Jaclyn Sanchez is a professional dancer, instructor, and choreographer with over 18 years of dance training, performance and competition experience. She began her dance career at the early age of 7 in her hometown of San Antonio, Texas where she later became the Company Director for a successful studio. Jaclyn received her B.S. in Kinesiology, Exercise Science at Texas A&M University. In addition, she has trained under the direction of multiple creative directors and choreographers in Los Angeles, California, New York, NY and Las Vegas, Nevada. Jaclyn also performed with the Spirit of America Dance Team in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York, NY. She is a professional competition choreographer with Choreography and Judges Awards for her small and large group contemporary, lyrical, and hip hop routines. Jaclyn has just completed her Regional Tour with Starpower National Dance Competition as both a judge and emcee. She prides her self on empowering young artists to push boundaries, rise to every occasion, and take every opportunity that is given.  She is excited to work with Trilogy Hill Country and the dancers who she sees so much potential in!

Renee’ Blackwelder
Renee’ Blackwelder began her dancing career at the age of three with the prestigious Boving School of Dance in Houston, TX, under the direction of Valentine Boving and Ballet Mistress Olga Kostritzky. After graduation from the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts as a dance major, Renee’ spent five years with the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and seven years with Kennedy and Company. She performed in various ballets including the Twelve Dancing Princesses, Spanish in The Nutcracker, Peter and the Wolf, and Coppelia.
She also earned the highest honor in the senior division of the RAD program under the direction of Ms. Kostritzky.  As an accomplished tap dancer, Renee’ has performed in various musicals in the Houston area including The Boyfriend and Cats to name a few.
Renee’ has been teaching in the Houston and San Antonio area for 15 years and currently is a faculty member of Quenedit Ballet School where her two daughters train. She also holds an AAS degree in business from San Jacinto College in Houston, Texas.  Her family resides in the Timberwood Park area with her husband, daughters, and 2 dogs.  Renee’ is excited to also teach with the dancers here at Trilogy Hill Country.

Hallie Odom
Hallie earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Texas State University in 2011, and also completed a 200-hour Yoga Certification. Hallie’s knowledge of body movement, dance kinesiology, and fitness is creatively woven into her dance classes and choreography. Hallie has not only been dancing her whole life but has over seven years of teaching experience here in the San Antonio area. Hallie is excited to be on staff at Trilogy Hill Country where she teaches everything from jazz and dance team prep to ballet and modern.

Alva Quintero
Alva Quintero is from Canyon Lake, Texas, and attended Canyon Lake High School where she danced with the award-winning ballroom dance team.
For two years now, Alva has been training as a dance teacher directly under the supervision of Charmaine Swearingen.  Now, in 2018, Alva is excited to teach her own classes as well as continue to assistant Charmaine in several classes.
Alva loves teaching our younger dancers in ballet, tap and acro (tumbling), and also teaches an occasional ballroom class!
When she is not teaching, you may find her in the office helping with everything from customer service, to costume ordering!   And, when she is not doing all of this, she is studying and taking tests while she works on her college degree!

Shea Glenn
Shea started dancing and competing in gymnastics as a young child where she fell in love with both! Upon moving to San Antonio in 2014, she joined Diamond Dance Academy and quickly became a part of their competition team, and later started training as a teacher’s assistant. During her time at Diamond Dance Academy as a competitive dancer, she earned numerous awards and judges recognitions.
Shea is now a key component of that very same Competition Team, now N Vision Dance Team, working as a teacher and choreographer. Her creativity and passion for dance shines through each and every day as she pours herself into not only our team dancers but all of our recreational dancers as well. Shea is blessed to be on staff at Trilogy Hill Country!

Grace Frasch
Grace is an advanced ballet dancer who has found a passion for teaching at Trilogy Hill Country. Grace teaches a variety of classes including ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, kicks, leaps & turns, as well as several pre-ballet and early-acro classes. Grace is also a gifted writer and plans to become a successful novelist.

Kimberly Ingram
Kimberly Ingram is a native Texan, born right here in San Antonio. She has trained with Trilogy’s pre-professional dance company, Insight Dance Ensemble for five years and has been promoted to the role of choreographer. Kimberly is also on staff of Move & Groove Preschool Dance Program. Kimberly continues to train in many disciplines of dance including ballet, jazz, modern/contemporary, tap, lyrical, and hip hop. She aspires to a become a working dancer in the dance industry. She has had the opportunity to train with many incredible choreographers such as Lindsey Blaufarb, Kellie Hodges, Malaya, Matt Tayao, Adam Parson and Kari Herman. Kimberly has received many awards and scholarships including Jump 2015 VIP runner-up. Kimberly is a company member with San Antonio Jazz Ensemble.
Outside of dance, Kimberly is attending the University of Texas at San Antonio this year as a junior with the intention of pursuing a degree in communication. In her free time, Kimberly enjoys spending her time relaxing with her friends and family. Kimberly is excited to share her knowledge of dance and continue to learn with students this year.

Anna Martinez
Anna has been teaching and assistant teaching in San Antonio for 6 years now and is so excited to join the Trilogy Hill Country team for the year! She has trained in several genres of dance for 16 years and had the pleasure of being on a competitive dance team for ten of those years. While on the competition team she learned the importance of teamwork and expressing herself through the discipline of dance as well as getting to perform at exciting events such as the San Antonio Spurs, Silver Stars, and Rampage half time shows and even getting to perform at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. Dance gave Anna a wonderful craft to share and express to others at such a young age and she hopes it can do the same for your child. She is looking forward to sharing her love of dance with her students in the enriching, safe and fun Trilogy Hill Country dance program!

Danielle Martinez
Danielle McCune is a proud graduate of Texas State University where she earned her BFA degree in Theatre: Performance and Production, with a minor in Music. This year will bring ten years of teaching dance, and about twenty years of loving and studying dance! She has worked with ages 3-Adult in Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Acrobatics, and Contemporary/Lyrical. She trained for many years at Amy’s All-Star Dance Studio in Schertz, TX where she was not only a member of the competition team but also had the opportunity to choreograph some of their award-winning routines. She has danced at numerous community events, NBA and WNBA games, and even at Walt Disney World!  Danielle has also worked in the theatre world, choreographing over thirty productions in the past five years. She has been teaching for the Move and Groove program for several years and enjoys having fun with your precious dancers!

Jerra Stout
Jerra Stout graduated from Brigham Young University in 2015 with a major in communications and a minor in business. Throughout college, Jerra was a member of the national winning BYU Cougarette dance team. She won four national titles while on the team, with two of those titles scoring in the 9.9 range. Jerra has competed and performed all over the world, even winning an international title with the Cougarettes as they competed against 12 other countries in Prague, Czech Republic in the Summer of 2012. Jerra has also coached a state and national winning team, the Bingham Minerettes for the past three years before moving to San Antonio.

Growing up, Jerra trained at Center Stage Performing Arts Studio in Orem, UT since the age of five and specializes in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical/Contemporary and Hip Hop. She competed and trained all over the country with top teachers and choreographers including Travis Wall, Jaci Royal, Mia Michaels, Dee Caspary, etc… and was a member of Odyssey Dance Theatre’s traveling show “Thriller” at the age of 10. Jerra has competed in solos since the age of 12 and won the Miss Dance Drill Utah Pageant when she was 16. Jerra was also a member of Bonnie Story’s professional company “Expansion” where she continued training, performing and auditioning after high school. Jerra has done choreography for various studios and high school dance teams around the state of Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming since 2010 and her pieces have won countless choreography awards and state titles. Jerra started teaching at Trilogy Dance Center this past summer and has loved every minute working with its talented dancers. She looks forward to expanding her talents to the state of Texas and is excited to be a new member of the Trilogy Hill Country family.
