Trilogy is built on the knowledge, professionalism and experience of the artistic faculty and administrative staff. Each student will learn dance technique, style, theory, and discipline from our excellent instructors. More importantly, the teachers will treat every student equally and encourage self-confidence through personal achievements. The administration strives to serve the needs of each family and dancer.
The faculty members encompass professional backgrounds, loyalty, passion for dance, and the dedication to the creation of extraordinary dancers. Trilogy provides it’s staff with opportunities such as monthly continued education classes in curriculum, teaching concepts and guidelines, as well as CPR and child development classes.

Carla Sankey

Carla Sankey has been dancing since the age of 8. She danced professionally in the theme park and theatre industry for many years which lead to a career in production.  She has been a choreographer and director for Six Flags since 2006 and has received national recognition for her work.  Working in San Antonio, she has divided her time between working with the theatre on musical productions and teaching competitive youth dance companies. She has been working with Insight Dance Ensemble as a choreographer and director since 2015. She is the artistic director of Curtain Up Cancer Foundation who produces original musicals and the choreographer for Ethics Follies, a touring musical ethics conference. She has been teaching dance to young artists for 20 years at dance schools in San Antonio and has taught at the Joffrey Ballet Workshop alongside internationally acclaimed artists.  Most importantly, she is the proud mother of a wonderful little dancer in training!

Kimberly Ingram

Kimberly Ingram is a native Texan, born right here in San Antonio. Kimberly graduated high school in 2015 and went through Trilogy’s Teacher training program and has been teaching for five years. At the same time, growing up and training with Trilogy’s pre-professional dance company, Insight Dance Ensemble. She has had the opportunity to train with many incredible choreographers such as Lindsey Blaufarb, Kellie Hodges, Malaya, Matt Tayao, Adam Parson, and Kari Herman.
In 2018, Kimberly has recently graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio, receiving a bachelor’s in Communication. In 2019 Kimberly also added to Marketing Director for Trilogy Dance Center and Trilogy Hill Country. She is excited to combine her love for marketing with her love for dance. In her free time, Kimberly enjoys spending her time relaxing with her friends and family.

Shea Glenn

Shea started to take dance and gymnastics training at the age of 5 in Dimondale, Michigan. After a few years, she exclusively trained and competed as a gymnast at Geddert’s Twistars USA Gymnastics club until the age of 14. After transitioning from gymnastics to dance, she resumed her dance training at Elite Dance Company in East Lansing, Michigan, where she participated in multiple musical theater programs and studied ballet, pointe, jazz, hip-hop, acrobatics, and contemporary dance styles. Shea moved to San Antonio in 2014, where she continued her dance training as a competitive dancer up until her high school graduation. Upon graduation, she moved to Chicago for one year to further pursue her dance training at Lou Conte Dance Studio, Hubbard Street Dance Center, and The Joffrey Ballet Chicago. Shea returned to San Antonio in 2017 to work as a dance instructor and choreographer with Diamond Dance Academy and eventually Trilogy Dance Center. Shea is now a key component of Trilogy Dance Center, Trilogy Hill Country, NVarsity Dance Company, and Move & Groove dance program. Shea is very passionate about her work as an instructor and choreographer and loves what she does every day!

Angel Lopez

Angel started dancing at the age of 20 as a ballroom dancer. He has trained with some of the top dancers in the commercial world such as Brian Friedman (Britney Spears’ Creative Director), Edyta and Alec (DWTS), Jojo Gomez (Tinashe Choreographer) and many others. He has had the opportunity to choreograph shows in Las Vegas for major Hotels and Casinos Such as Circus Circus and choreograph music videos for artists, choreograph industrials for national companies, and work with several television networks such as Bravo, Oxygen, Nickelodeon and Fox. Angel has taught and trained both nationally and internationally in Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet, Ballroom, Contemporary and acrobatics.

Marisol Hernandez

Marisol was born and raised in San Antonio. She started her dance training at the age of two. She was on Trilogy’s pre-professional dance company, Insight Dance Ensemble for two years. She has also trained at Kathy Marfin’s and Ballet San Antonio Academy and was a member of both pre-professional company’s LEDC for 8 years and SAYB for 1 year, respectively. She traveled to New York to study Ballet with Joffrey in the summer of 2013 and to Los Angeles to study Jazz and Contemporary in the summer of 2014. Marisol has earned scholarships from Streetz two years in a row. She started assisting for Trilogy in 2018 and is now a teacher. She is currently attending her third year of college full time while continuing her training in dance. Marisol enjoys photography, hanging out with friends, and making crafts in her free time.

Rachel Glenn

Rachel was born in Michigan where she grew up dancing since the age of 3. She trained and competed with Elite Dance Company studying ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, and hip-hop styles until moving to Texas in 2014! Since being in Texas Rachel has enjoyed competing, choreographing, and teaching throughout high school, and grew to especially love hip-hop. She is now in her sophomore year of college and is pursuing a degree in Communication Sciences. Rachel loves sharing her passion for dance with others, and is so excited to help young dancers discover theirs!
